Hi, I am researching whether it is possible to study CertHE Law at Essex uni online and then transfer to an LLB at another university. Has anyone actually experienced a similar route? And if you could share which university you went to in the UK, that would be very helpful.
Is there a reason you couldn't just apply directly to the other law course in the first place? Or to undertake level 3 qualifications (e.g. A-levels, IB, Access to HE diploma) which won't impact your entitlement to funding from Student Finance?

Thanks for the reply. I'm a non-native UK resident and I'm already studying CertHE Law for financial reasons, but I'd like to consider the possibilities after this course is over.

It may well be possible, if you are eligible for funding from Student Finance England then a CertHE may affect your entitlement for full-time funding.
But yes you can potentially go from a CertHE at one uni to a BA at another (that's what I did, but I'm studying part time on both courses so under a different funding model ).
