Need Help with Evidence for EU24N Form for Tuition Fee Funding

Hi everyone,

I need some guidance on the EU24N form. My father and I are Indian citizens, and he has ILR settled status but I don't. We've both been in the UK for 3 years. I'm only eligible for tuition fee funding and need to fill in the EU24N form. I have a few questions:

1.

What evidence is needed? Do I only need to send my BRP card via post with the form?

2.

Do I need to send my father's ILR card as well? I provided his Home Office reference number in the online form.

3.

Do I need to prove my relationship with my father?

Basically, what evidence do I need to send via post? When can I expect to receive my loans if I submit the form tomorrow? Will it be ready for the first day of the academic year?

Thanks in advance!
Hi Kausar Khan,

If you are applying as the family member of a settled person we will need valid ID from both you and your dad and proof of your relationship which would be your birth certificate. How old are you? This can affect what evidence you are required to send.

Thanks,
Calum

Thank you, so for me can I send in my UK BRP card and my India birth certificate? Do I need to give evidence of my father's settled status like the ILR card too? I am 20 years old.

Hi there. Yes, you can send your BRP and birth certificate. For your father we need the BRP showing the settled status. Thanks, Leah.

Thank you Leah! So just to confirm I must send my UK BRP, my fathers ILR BRP showing and my birth certificate. It’s from India but it’s in English that should be okay right ? Also do I need to prove my 3 years of residency with utility bills ? Or just the 3 items mentioned above.

In addition, I wanted to ask because I’m applying this late will I get the loans in time for the first term of university ?

And I wanted to ask when I would get the evidence back?

Yes, that's right.

The birth certificate is fine if it's from India.

We don't ask for utility bills for the addresses.

Applications take around 6-8 weeks to fully process, we can't guarantee it will be on time for the course starting but we will still process the form.

Identity evidence is taking around 15 working days to process (not including weekend). We post it back recorded delivery once it's processed via royal mail. Thanks, Leah.

Just wanted to ask do I need to send an Evidence Factsheet form with the other items in the post as well? In addition, if the loans are not ready for the start of the course, would I have to pay my first term fees for example and then the other term's fees will be funded by SFE?

In addition, can I send photocopied versions of my father's BRP or is the physical card needed? If it is photocopied can I get it signed by the post office?

Thank you once again

Regards,

Kausar Khan
You don't need to send a factsheet, but we would ask your to send a cover letter with your reference number.

It's not up to us if you need to pay your first term if it isn't approved on time, this is something you would need to discuss with the university. We would pay the 1st term fees once the application is approved and we have your attendance from the university.

The birth certificate can be a copy.

The BRP must be original, however we can accept certified copies. A certified copy is a photocopy of a document which must be stamped and signed as being a true copy of the original by an official person such as:

Minister of Religion

Doctor

Lawyer

Established Civil Servant

Teacher/Lecturer

Police Officer or

State Authority

The official person certifying the copy must NOT be a relative and must state their name, job title, address and contact telephone number on the copy.

Thanks, Leah.

Dear Leah,

I hope this message finds you well.

I apologize for any repeated messages and appreciate your patience with my inquiries. I have a few more questions.

1.

Can my birth certificate be a photocopy, or does it need to be signed or an original document?

2.

To which address should I send my EU24N form, my BRP card, father's BRP card and my Birth Certificate to? The portal instructs me to send my BRP to:
Student Finance England PO Box 210 Darlington DL1 9HJ
On the other hand, the EU24N form states that I should send the form with the evidence to:
Student Finance Services Student Loans Company PO Box 89 Darlington County Durham England United Kingdom DL1 9AZ

Could you please clarify which address I should use for sending all my documents and evidence together?

3.

Home Office Letter Requirement: My father's Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) wasn't granted through the EU Settlement Scheme. Do I need to include a Home Office letter in my submission? Or would his BRP card suffice

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Kausar Khan
