okayyy it's horribly horribly late and i have to get up early (like 9!) tomorrow for a girl guides event... wow.

i finished so late bcs i started rlly late like 5pm them went out with my fam for shopping & dinner and that took hours...

well today i studied

•

irish, ceacht a sé den leabhar first steps, (tá gaeilge mo m'ábhar is éasca anois, agus tá sin saying something...)

•

spanish, did activity 10 (translation yippee) and started Lesson 3 (where they discuss how spain has an amazing economy ~~wouldn't relate~~ despite everyone there being unemployed)

•

classics, made notes on telemachus (he's actually a stroppy psychopath. i don't know why people like him, if they do.)

•

didn't do english because i'm a failure who's scared of exam questions :yeah:

well tomorrow got mah girl guides event, it's also my brother's birthday, i got him some football card megapack+ some magazine about football and some massive lollipop 🍭
then on sunday it's back to the grind...
unrelated but my sister made my spotify look aesthetic i'm rlly pleased abt that 😄

What is girl guides? Is it anything like the girl scouts? I did girl scouts when I was little.

okay today i started studying rlly late so i didnt have as much time (family weekend and all= no studying time argh)

anyway for each subject today i only did 30min instead of 1hr.
so i did

•

english, i need to finish the TMA

•

spanish, activity 1 of lesson 3

•

classics, notes on penelope

•

irish, beagán de ceacht a seacht déag

that's all for today, i'll do more tomorrow obviously. i need to stop leaving the house and having a life it's messing up my studying 😅 also 3 days now until the results day, i'm so anxious

•

1 hr irish, ceacht a hOcht déag

also yesterday i made tanjiro's earrings despite hating the show kinda (it's dull and tanjiro is boringly annoyingly happy) cuz the earrings are slay tbf (and a friend's paying me 21dh for a pair wow)

I've just started studying for my a-levels! I'm doing them with a long-distance courses... coz i'm homeschooled and there's no a-level colleges in roi 🥹
So i'm doing
- aqa english language with oxford open learning trust (fancy shmancy)
- spanish aqa (also with oxford open learning trust)
- classics ocr with humanatees
*ALSO* i'm sitting b1 irish (teg exam)
i'm aiming to get into a modern language course in uni, which needs only 350 entry points atm.
i'll sit the a-levels and teg in 2026 and then hopefully go to university. this is me documenting my incredible studies 🥹

will be watching and supporting...just finished sixth form and it was the best and most stressful time of my life

OK FAM!!!
Today is results day!! My mum woke me up at noon to inform me that i passed and can dump the stack of notes i was keeping in her office in case i failed 😅
I got a 6 in maths!! I was aiming for a 5 tbh, so I'm rlly pleased abt that :thumbsup:

and i had chocolate cake to commemorate the occasion. yippee!

then i studied...
i did

1 hr irish (leath de cheacht a naoi. bheidh mé ag críochnú é amarach...)

•

1 hr spanish (notes on pronouns and 'gustar'. there's a lot of repetition so far from what i already know but that is GOOD!)

•

1 hr english (i wrote about a page for the TMA. need to get my stuff together for this eek)

it's 1am 😱 gonna take my makeup off then go to sleep 😴 maybe

oops forgot to write today's GYG just remembered!!! :congrats:

okay i went to town with my mum and sister, my burkini arrived from shein and i got a big sunhat for whenever i go abroad (making up for the FOUL rainy weather ATM. surprised it hasn't flooded properly tbh)
i got ulysses from the library! i'm very pretentious hehe

i studied not too much 😔
i did

•

1 hr irish (ceacht a naoi déag)

•

1 hr spanish (activity 2 from L3 and notes on the future tense)

but i need to do my TMA for english HELLLPPPP

i have had a baaad headache from around 6pm. i took 2 paracetamol but i think they fading abt now so imma go to sleep (it is 3.53.... eek)
