you do duolingo too? i recently made an account because i wanted to learn korean to communicate with my grandparents and then spanish even tho i said i'm never doing it again and then latin because why not lol

i started duolingo when i was a literal child :lol:

it's my addiction. i do mostly mandarin now, cuz why not, but it helped my spanish and taught me the all the language scripts i know (except arabic), it's an awesome app
and i friended u! i've been in the amethyst league since july :biggrin:

(terrible for me lol, i used to be in the diamond league 20something weeks in a row :cry2:

😭gurlie how are you consistent with duo? I started mandarin and then just wasn't regular. Even duo gave up on the reminders💀

not sure actually. i started in 2021, and had a 150-something streak and lost it, but i started again 💪 i have a 1026 streak... u should keep up ur duo for sure

heya! today was a day. i started studying kinda late, and had a call with a friend from like 9 to 11pm then watched lost with the fam till about 2, so i did a little bit of the last of my studying at this time (2.30am) :afraid:

i'm bonkers actually

today i studied...

1 hr Irish- leath de ceacht a fiche cuig/ half of lesson 25

•

1 hr Spanish- activity 5 and made notes on the use of the infinitive.

•

not a full hr English- reviewed past notes (read some notes in bed for a while :yeah: )

welp. i'm done for today :yay:

i wanna wake up early and get my studying done early in the day

hiya! i wasn't actually studying 'till 2, i finished at about 00.30, but was watching lost with the fam.
here's what i studied:

•

1 hr irish- chríochnaigh mé ceacht a fiche cuig/ i finished lesson twenty five

•

1 hr+ of spanish- I did activities 6 & 8. I put off activity 7 cos it's the preguntas personales and i don't know jack about the economy for young people in ireland. i hate researching. :ashamed2:

•

1 hr english- I made notes on pace/pitch/prosadics/non-segmental features.

i gotta e-mail my tutors about dates.

well, tomorrow's friday, a good day for sure. :grin:

and alexa's told me it's supposed to be warm tomorrow, i hope she's right cos rn i'm freezing. :emo:

i think i'm meeting my grandparents who live a while away on either saturday or sunday. depending on that, i may study on saturday if i am having to take sunday off. we'll see :dontknow:

•

1 hr English- Made some notes on the different pitches of voice (this ties into the chinese tones- once i recognise the pitch/tone indicators in english, i can in pinyin also!!)

•

1 hr Spanish- Did question 1 of the tutor-marked assignment

aight, tomorrow's saturday so no studying. i wanna rise early, go to town- the library and primark, then go swimming. yippee.

but i'm posting yesterday's stuff now...
i studied...

also, my classics live lessons are starting tomorrow.
they're only 1 a week, but it's the start of another a-level :coffee:

my, my. i'm crazy. :facepalm:

but matriculation requires 3 a-levels and the CEFR Irish... smh.
but on the ➕ side, i checked the course content, and by studying ahead just a little, i've self-covered up to the end of october by means of course content- which is fab!
also i'm in duolingo emerald league :toofunny:

to think i was in diamond for a few months straight is hilarious
