I applied for a tuition fee loan and have submitted all my current documents such as my passport, my expired passport containing a relevant vignette, BRP, and birth certificate. I have also sent my mother's UK passport and my parent's marriage certificate. After sending all these documents via post, I received an email:
"Thank you for your application for student finance. In order to progress
your application, you need to provide us with the following information
and/or evidence.
Immigration status within the UK
Please send us any evidence listed below to confirm your immigration status
in the UK from 01/09/2021 - 28/02/2022:
your original/digital Home Office letter confirming your status in the UK
and the reason for this status being granted. The letter must clearly show
the date on which you were granted your status, and the date on which this
status will expire (if applicable)
your original Immigration Status Document
your original passport with relevant vignette confirming your immigration
status in the UK
your original valid/expired biometric residence permit card
your original UK Travel Document
You must send evidence that covers all dates. If you’ve made any
applications to the Home Office for further leave during this period then
you’ll also need to provide your original Home Office letter showing that
the application was made before your previous immigration status expired."
Then, I submitted my passport that contains the relevant vignette 3 times however I kept receiving the same email. I do not have the physical copy nor a digital copy of my expired BRP as it was given to our solicitor when applying for a new one.
Dates can be seen in the passport from when I arrived in the UK, and the vignette shows the validity. Also, I have sent online a Home Office Letter confirming the collection of my first BRP, dates were shown there "22 Oct 2019 to 10 March 2022", I contacted SFE and someone said it would be enough as an evidence however after weeks with no changes or updates I have contacted and SFE again and a lady said I must submit evidence that is stated on the email.
I hope someone can help me or give me advice as every time I contact SFE they would be just saying for me to wait or submit more evidence. Right now, I am trying to find a way to contact the Home Office to have access to my immigration status and not sure how long this will take because I do not know which contact number is best to contact.
