I want to be a policeman

Hi, I am someone who has decided to be policeman even though I'm attending uni and I'm just asking if anyone can tell me if it's good to just attend a policing academy or apprenticeship to follow this dream.

Minimum entry requirements is pass at A Level (or equivalent).

If you go in as a graduate, there is a chance that you can accelerate your training to become an inspector. However, that depends on a range of factors e.g. places, whether you get accepted, whether you're suited for the role, where the roles are based, etc.

I don't think attending a policing academy or apprenticeship would help your case, but then again I am not in the force. It's best to get a second opinion on the above though.
