I recently graduated with first-class honours in LLB Law from a non-Russell Group university. Despite the achievement, I found the experience incredibly challenging and stressful, and I feel that I still lack the comprehensive knowledge required to become a solicitor. Currently, I am torn between pursuing an LLM combined with either the SQE or the LPC. I want to include a Master’s degree to help fund the course. As much as I am passionate about law, I am still uncertain about which area of law I want to specialize in. Although I found the LLB overwhelming, my desire to become a solicitor remains strong. Could anyone offer advice on the best path to take?

I am also in same boat, I was thinking of doing LPC. With LPC if you fail, you only resit the module whereas with SQE you have to resit the whole exam and pay for either SQE1/2. The LLM LPC is definitely a better option in terms of finance and it also includes the fees of the exams.
