The Student Room Group

Horrible Accommodation Arrangement of University of Bath

I am going to study the postgraduate program with my friend in the coming academic year. We planned to share a two bed flat at the Centurion House. And we even sent emails to the ResLife to try to secure our roommate possibility. She successfully got the accommodation offer while I got the offer of the standard whb of Pulteney Court, which is not even on my preference list.

Just wanna know is there any solution to this horrible situation.

Call up reslife and ask them.
Hi Anon #1,

I'm so sorry to hear about your current situation. I agree with @mesub that your first port of call would be to call to Reslife, see them in person if you can. However, if that does you no good then have a serious think about whether the situation is as bad as it seems. Pulteney Court and Centurion House are only a street away from each other so it would only take you a few minute's walk to see your friend. Plus, staying in Pulteney Court might give you the chance to meet other students who could be potential friends. Perhaps you could meet your friend's new flatmate too.

I know its not ideal and I totally get how frustrating this mess is, but try not to panic because somehow most things work themselves out for the better even if you don't get the option you wanted or expected to start with.

Best of luck
