Contextual applications

Hi, I am a yr12 going into yr13 and will be applying early October. I'm predicted AAA and hoping to apply for law. However most London unis require A*AA unless you're applicable for contextuals which is usually about AAA-BBB and I'm eligible for them. I've checked with the most relevant unis I want to apply to but I was wondering how to actually apply. Do I send my application as usual to unis where the normal requirements are A*AA and eventually get given a contextual offer or is there a different process where I specifically apply for a 'contextual' offer to a uni? My bad if this is a stupid q, I'm just not sure about the application process and it doesn't seem to be written anywhere

You do not need to 'do' anything about Contextual offers - your application will be flagged automatically by the University's own data system when they receive it from UCAS, and if they make you an offer it'll be with the lower grade offer.

If you are certain you meet their criteria - check because each Uni can be slightly different - then you only need to look at the Contextual grades, you are not expected to have the standard A* grade profile to be considered.

So as long as I'm eligible for the contextual grades offered then I can apply for the course even if it says on UCAS the entry requirements are A*AA?

Yes - exactly this.
There are no guarantees of an offer of course, but you don't need to meet the standard offer grades.
