Booking a driving theory/practical

Ok, so I and many others are finding it almost impossible to book a practical test (and a driving theory but that’s not as bad). I heard that some people are buying the tests and then reselling them. Just out of curiosity how do they buy them in the first place as I am pretty sure you need a driving license number.

Also does anyone know any reliable services that do the ‘re-selling of a test’ as I am bloody desperate to get one.

That’s strange indeed I never knew you could just book multiple dates but surely something like that is going to come back to bite them if they don’t end up making any sales.

Anyways you could always try to book at a different test centre?

Have you tried Testi? Its an app which I think requires a fee, but its helped lots of people find tests/cancelations to book as it sends you notifications when slots are free in your chosen test centre. EDIT : there is a paid version and a free version, not sure what you get for paying, but its worth looking into if you are struggling to get a test.

The people that our booking driving tests and reselling them, unfortunately, are actually driving instructors. This is because they can acquire a special DVSA account that allows them to pre-book driving tests for their students.
