Mock mini interviews are definitely helpful if you are considering applying to medical school, but equally, you could ask a variety of people to support you with this and set up some mock interviews with you, both in and outside of school.
You will need to do a lot of preparation for applying to medical school outside of school time to best prepare you, so I wouldn't think it is an absolute deal breaker if one offers it over another 🙂
Great advice above.

I think that when it boils down to it there are lots of places and people who can help with mmis.

However, is it a symptom of one of them being better prepared to support applicants for early entry. Better geared up more generally? That might be useful.

Aside from that I would look at where does the subjects that you are interested in, who does them well? Where do you want to go, and where do you think you will do well? Pick subjects carefully to get min 3 As. How are the schools doing? Are they high performing or would you be high performing for the school?

Does one require you to start 4, does one do EPQs?

How far are they? Applying ro med has lots going on around it like volunteering, work experience, super curriculars etc. A long commute can be draining.

Some of the things I would think about before my mmis !

Sorry for the ramble.
Good luck

thx for ur reply. between the two schools im deciding between, one is high performing and sends a lot more people to med schools and stuff so is likely more well equipped. however i also want to stay at my old school which, even though statistically does worse, its closer which saves me about 45 mins each day and ik the people there and the teachers. i feel a lot more comfortable going to teachers during break and lunch there to discuss something cus ik them well.

i personally feel like i will achieve top grades in either place, teachers at both schools are good. im comfortable with setting up volunteering and work experience myself. UCAT should be sorted too through either medify or medentry. so my decisions is between comfort or a place that has a few extra things and idk if its worth it.

i was thinking of just compensating by doing things myself and my own research into improving my application, but idk how realistic this is.
It sounds to me reading this as though you have your answer. Go with your heart.

There is lots of support for the med process on here wherever you end up.
