I'm taking my GCSE in 2026, but even so...

Subjects -
1) English Lit.
2) English Lang.
3) Maths
4) Further Maths (need to be in top group)
5) Triple Science (teacher hinted that I'm in top group)
6) History
7) BH

Grades I'm Hoping for -

I'm hoping for all 9s...!

Plans - No idea! Celebrate it when it comes, get a pizza, enjoy day with friends??

chemistry all triple (grade 8)
rs (grade 9)
health and social care( distinction)
english lit (grade 6)
english lang (grade 6)

french (grade 6)

i took:
english lit (hoping for a 7?)
english lang (hoping for a 9)
maths (hoping for an 8)
physics (hoping for an 8)
chemistry (hoping for a 9)
biology (hoping for a 7)
history (hoping for a 9)
german (hoping for an 8)
drama (honestly just hoping to pass, so much happened that was out of our control, it was ridiculous)
graphic design (hoping for a 6)
ethics and philosophy (hoping for a 7)

i could just say that i'm hoping for all 9s, but i know that won't happen so that's my more realistic hopes. my parents won't be with me for results day, so i'm hoping my sister or my friends organise something!

i'm so so nervous for it, i just want them now! anyone else feel the same?

I just did my GCSEs this year and this are the grades I'm hoping for

Maths 9

English lit 8

English lang 7

Biology 9

Tbh I'm trying not to think about results day until it actually comes but I'm so scared for it

Nice one! You can't go wrong with pizza so that's a good shout. Good luck hope you get the all 9's will keep my fingers crossed for you :party:

Good luck!! Hope it goes well for you!! And yeah thinking about it too much can be counterproductive some times, so good idea trying not to dwell too much. And although it is scary, (as cliche as it sounds :stupid:) it will pass and you'll be okay no matter what the results are :dancing2:

I'm so nervous, and my parents have decided to take me to a fancy sushi place the day before results day (just in case).

hi hii!! it's 15 days until results day! here's my subjects and the grades i'm predicting for for each one:

Maths - Grade 9
English Language - Grade 8
English Literature - Grade 9
Combined Science Trilogy - Grade 9,9
Geography - Grade 8 or Grade 9
Sociology - Grade 8
Music - L2 Merit / Distinction
DIT - L2 Distinction

health and social care - level 2 distinction

I only care about maths and science grades so hopefully (insha allah) they're good and then I'll eat out in free places with my friends bcs we're big backs but if the grades aren't what I hoped for then I'll still eat but in a bad mood LOL
