Ugh I’m really anxious ahead of my history results (only this is CIE iGCSE so I get it 9 days early). Been thinking a lot about it as it’s my favourite subject but I should get a 9. Maybe I’m overthinking this but I’m can’t stop getting stressed over it. Just gonna pray…

OMG Same. It’s my favourite subject and I’ve wanted a 9 since Year 9, I really hope we both get it.

Oh nice. I’m so so nervous - my favourite subject and I don’t know what I’d do without a 9. I predict the boundary will be at 103/140 for the coursework option. Did you do coursework? I poured my heart and soul into that essay only to get… 36/40 (not a 9). Totally getting up at 6am to get the results.
hii  i have 10 days until results day and i am legit freaking outttttt
here are my predictions:
English language: 8
Engish literature: 9
Biology: 9
Chemistry :9
Physics: 8
History: 8
Music: 8
Art: fail
Maths: 9
IGCSE Further Maths:8
AQA Further Maths: 8

I didn’t do coursework, but I had 4 exams!! I think most of them went well but…idk..I’m just really hoping I’m overthinking it. I hope you get the 9!!

What makes you think you failed art? Also I still can’t believe it’s only 10 days left!!!

ikk, i cant believe its only 10 days
anyways, after my art teacher gave us our marks for the coursework, he was giving me one of those pity looks that a teacher gives when they know youve done bad..
also, i checked my marks against last years grade boundaries and i got like a 3
Good luck for everyone when they receive their results and hopefully it all goes smoothly 🤞
I on the other hand wish all the best for whatever happens next Thursday. But after sitting the exams and knowing I could have definitely done much better is a bit upsetting but I have accepted it - so all is well just waiting for next Thursday 😱

I hope you get the 9 too. I messed up one source question and kinda the depth study question too - they weren’t horrific but just a bit sub par. Everything else was brilliant though so I should be ok.
Eng Lit - hopefully a 6, but those exams went BADLY (entirely my fault though) so I might be too optimistic

Eng Lang - hopefully an 8, wasn't too bad

Maths - hopefully a 9, maths is my babe <3

Biology - I think probably a 7, hoping for better because it felt easy (but I always think that in bio and I'm usually wrong)

Chemistry - also my babe, ill take that 9 pls

Physics - hopefully an 8, was surprisingly survivable

Further Maths - same as physics tbh

German - slight problem in that I only had supply teachers for almost a third of the course, because my teacher quit and then the whole languages department did the same ( :/ ) hopefully a 6, probably lower

Comp Sci - had a similar situation as in German (because apparently my school can't get staff to stay longer than a year ig - great place if you couldn't tell) but I did weirdly well on the mocks so I'm hoping for a 7 or 8

History - gimme that 9 or I might cry, those exams went so well I loved it, but jokes aside an 8 would be great too

Hosp. and Catering - I'm hoping for a L2D or L2D* because I got full marks on my NEA (I think?) but idk about the exam it felt a little dubious

Business - absolutely screwed, what was I thinking, praying for a 4 so I can kinda get my moneys worth (for context, my school doesn't offer it so my friend convinced me to pay £50 to take it externally - we then completely forgot we did this until we got our exam timetables - we didn't get mocks for it - so yeah this is entirely our fault but at least we're going down together lol)

To celebrate I'm getting pizza with some friends, probably something after that but nothing planned yet.

I hope all you guys get the grades you want, good luck on results day!
I only did one, French, and I'm hoping for at least an 8 because I was so close to a 9 in the mocks!! Good luck everyone! I think I'm going to be in the shadows a bit because my brother did his this year, all of them... I was in yr9 and so while it's cool to do a GCSE at 13 I don't think I will be having any celebrations : (

honestly I'm actually scared for my results and I feel like I did better in my mocks rather than the actual thing, it was honestly such a pain trying to revise but I tried my best to be honest, I just need to pass my subjects to be able to do my course😭

I agree with math if you were excel but then again when I looked at a level boundaries they were high🥲
I heard someone said that aqa posted that their boundaries were going to be lower but I'm not getting my hopes up honestly
I feel like this has gone by too fast... A week is too short
