Hi there 👋,
From what I can gather from your situation, you may have to apply for specific student accommodation. I would recommend speaking to the specific university accommodation teams and seeking advice from them, as they hold more knowledge of these types of situations.

In the mean time, check our blog out about what to pack for university!: https://wrexham.ac.uk/blog/posts/your-what-to-bring-to-university-checklist/

Hope this helps,

Whilst it usually isnt guaranteed for Clearing applicants, most Uni can tweak things for those who held a Firm place there. As above. IF you do get accepted through Clearing, then call/email both Admissions and the Accommodation team at that Uni. Its pointless doing this before Clearing - they wont be able to give you any definite info - and you dont even know if you will definitely be in Clearing yet.

If the university is currently your firm choice then there's no need to use clearing.
Your firm university can just swap your course over which shouldn't affect your accommodation at all :ninjagirl:
I was just going to say that there's no need to use clearing for a course swap at an existing uni choice. Just speak to the uni involved.
