Prefer insurance choice urgent

Hii, I lately realise that my firm choice will not be the best option due to its location (london and I am from Birmingham and I can't get accommodation)
I want to go to my insurance choice.Is it possible to ask the uni of my firm choice to make my application unsuccessful so I can get to my insurance choice.

I will try to see with the accommodation team,
I called the ucas and they told me two options, the last one is the same as you described, the first the one is without going through the clearing process, which mean I will ask the firm choice as if I didn't met the criteria and just make my application unsuccessful and then automatically the insurance choice will be accepting me.
I just need for the firm choice of uni to accept my proposition.

If you explain your circumstances to your firm choice, I am sure they will understand - without accommodation, it would be very difficult to attend that university. I would recommend getting in touch with your firm choice explaining your circumstances as soon as possible.

Have you missed your offer conditions for your firm choice?
UCAS forbids universities from rejecting applicants who haven't missed their offer conditions.
Have you spoken to your insurance university? They might be willing to send you a clearing offer now with the condition that you meet your original offer conditions

I though of my dbs checks because there is a due time from my firm choice for me to complete it so it can be used to make my application unsuccessful.

That could take weeks to sort out. The deadline for universities to reject based on late results is mid September. It's unlikley that your firm would be willing to reject you based on that alone in any reasonable time. It's much better to get reassurance from your insurance that they'll take you back.
