Where should I apply for medicine?

Hello! I'm an international student hoping to apply for medicine in the UK. I actually have British citizenship, it's just that I don't live in the UK (not that this helps). I've looked at some med schools I think I'd like to go to like Oxford, Edinburgh, Imperial, etc but I'd like a second opinion. My stats:

predicted 4A* in A-level Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology (I'm taking AS in September. I'm doing an accelerated A-level course where I started AS in March)

IPQ- "Does COVID-19 affect neurodegeneration in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease: A systematic review" (I'm doing it for A2, not AS so I'm not deep into writing it yet)

UCAT- I take it on September 4th (my score currently is 2500 after 3 weeks of practice, I'm hoping to increase it to 3000+ by September)

2 weeks hospital work experience

Community volunteer, working with an organization to provide health screening and vaccinations to marginalized communities

IGCSE- 8A*, 1A (I got 89% for english 😭). I took Bio, chem, physics, maths, additional maths, economics, ICT, english, and mandarin

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, your grades are really good so you could apply anywhere, but really the UCAT plays a big role in where you can actually apply. Different unis have different cutoff scores, so i’d say look at the scores for the unis ur interested in and strive for that score. Some people wait till after they’ve got their UCAT score as that makes it easier. Hope that helped.
