Currently doing my EPQ… Could you be brutally honest with me?

Hello!

I’m about to enter Year 13 this August, and I’m currently halfway through my EPQ (I’m doing AQA!).

I’m doing an EPQ on Fast Fashion, and whether Sustainable Fashion is a good alternative.

My Supervisor has given me the deadline of finishing my Essay and CRF up until the Project Product Review by September, when School reopens.

I’ve only just begun my EPQ Essay, but I have already researched and know what to write. My concern is I’m absolutely terrified of being accused of AI Usage and Plagiarism.

I’ve only done about two paragraphs whole (Don’t judge me; I know I should’ve started earlier, in the Summer 😭), which I’ve written entirely by myself. But, running it through QuillBot AI Detector, it comes out as 50% AI-Generated.

My Questions are:
1. Should my concern for the AI/Plagiarism Detection be this great? If not, can anyone please give reassurance?
2. Is it worth continuing the EPQ, at this point?
