Special access arrangements for the TMUA

Hello, I have a learning disability and as a result I get extra time in my A-level exams and I was wondering if I could get extra time for the TMUA as I plan on sitting it ?

If you can get extra time how do you go about getting it ? I was thinking you book the exam at a test centre and then call them about arrangements ?
This is their page on this, hope this helps:

Have you booked the test yet? If so, how did you do it?
I received approval for my access arrangements a while ago was told to wait for Pearson VUE to call before booking a test. However, the deadline is approaching and they haven’t contacted me yet with test centres near me being booked up. I was wondering if you’ve ran into the same problem?

Hi, i am in a similar situation. I am applying for ESAT. I havent applied for extra time yet, but will do so today. I am aware the deadline is the 29th of august. If they get back to me in 10 days, do I then submit the application as normal by the 16th of September? Or am i meant to submit everything by the 29th? What should I do pls help

For me, I received an email from Uat-Uk saying my extra time was approved and a few days later the Pearson VUE Accommodations team sent me an email saying the would call me. (they have to be the ones to call you when booking a test with extra time)

However, given the deadline is very close, I would recommend calling Pearson VUE Customer Service immediately after your extra time gets approved (they called me a few hours after I called them). I hope all goes well!

Thanks so much. The problem is I am a bit confused - is the deadline you are talking of the 29th of august, or is it the 16rh of september. Because from my understanding, the deadline to apply for extra time is the 29th and then you have until the 16th to schedule the test, but is the deadline for booking a test tomorrow? Because in that case if I submit the application for extra time today, how will they get back to me by tomorrow?

For example, If i apply for access arrangements by today, but I dont get a confirmation/ call by tomorrow, what should i do? Is the deadline for booking a test tomorrow, or is that just the deadline for applying for access arrangements

I think that 29th August is the deadline to apply for access arrangements, and 16th is for booking the test. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh ok, thanks so much. So if I were to apply for access arrangements by tomorrow, and receive approval next week, can i then book the test by the 16th?

What did you ask them I'm also in the same situation
Pearson VUE has been useless for me. I was away in the middle of nowhere in wales when they apparently called me (phone has no recollection of that). It's been 5 days since I sent them an email telling them that I was available to book. They also haven't given me anywhere to submit evidence that my school did for me. I don't want to be in a position where I can't get a test anywhere near to be because of their screwups.

Heya, i know this is an old thread, but im sitting the january sitting and ive had basically the same happen to me a week ago. Told them when i was available to call and everything, called customer services, they said "we will call you within 48 hours" after an hour. Its been longer than that and they still havent called me back. Did they eventually get back to you and you got it sorted?
