Are you required to do an interview when trying to apply for pharmacy in clearing?

My whole application and personal statement are about dentistry but I want to study pharmacy and plan to try to get a place during clearing.

I am unsure whether they will ask you to interview before giving you a place, whether the interview will happen on the spot, or if they will say to do it within the next few days like for medicine.

Can somebody who knows anything about this, or someone went through pharmacy clearing, or someone who was in the same position as me and had an application for something not pharmacy and secured a place please help?

Yes - Interviews are a requirement of the GPhC - and Unis usually interview online or by phone.

The fact that you have a Dentistry application will not matter but you must be able to explain 'why pharmacy'.

So will the interview take place a few days/weeks after results day, or would it be done on the spot when calling up the uni for available spaces?

Usually a tutor would call you back to do an interview.
Btw, likely that the new Pharm course at Plymouth Uni run by Bath will in Clearing

Hi again, I just wanted to ask regarding the clearing interview for pharmacy - as this interview will be over a call and be more informal will the questions asked be similar to that of the formal interview?

They will be the usual questions asked by that Uni.
Typically -
Why Pharmacy
Questions about organic chemistry
Simple maths test
Some 'what would you do if ... ' questions usually about confidentiality / ethics
etc
