Im a virgin and want to break my hymen before I have sex. Just so I have a little better time when I do, and it doesn’t hurt so much.
I’ve used toys but I just want to know. What girth will break my hymen? So I know what to work up to.

Not all hymens "break". Some stretch, some barely exist.

If I’m being completely sure I don’t know, I’ve looked and heard that sometimes when it has broken or whatever you can see that it has but I’m not entirely sure.

Try feeling as well as looking. It's a thin membrane across the entrance.

It's shouldn't be covering the entire entrance, there should be a hole in the middle (or multiple ones, depending on your anatomy). Might be slightly paler in colour than the surrounding vagina. OP, if you google, there will be both diagrams and photographs from scientific journals showing where it is and what it might look like.
