Thank you! I did question 3, "Climate change plus the impact of global conflict on international supply chains has enhanced risk on food security. What market intervention can governments across the world take to mitigate food security risk?". Should say they we all really good questions and a very tough choice to decide on which to do.

Sorry to be annoying but do you have any tips at on your essay writing? Anything you think that helped you get in the top 8 maybe to do research or writing? I’m applying this year and was just curious

Of course, from what I can remember doing, here are some tips:

Use the past winning examples, which you can find easily online, to find the kind of things you can talk about e.g. what policies come up frequently as winners .

Base each argument make on an economic model or concept and build around that e.g. I talked about taxes and subsidies, including looking at PED, in one of my arguments.

Have something unique, usually ideas come from within the A level economics spec (as I would assume most people who enter take econ), so really think outside the box where you can, but still make your argument reasonable.

Evaluate-ish, try address areas where you think that the person reading your arguments might disagree with your points. I wrote in my essay about taxing meat, which of course would be controversial, so I found statistics on public support for this idea.

Best of luck for your entry.
