Use the past winning examples, which you can find easily online, to find the kind of things you can talk about e.g. what policies come up frequently as winners .

Base each argument make on an economic model or concept and build around that e.g. I talked about taxes and subsidies, including looking at PED, in one of my arguments.

Have something unique, usually ideas come from within the A level economics spec (as I would assume most people who enter take econ), so really think outside the box where you can, but still make your argument reasonable.

Evaluate-ish, try address areas where you think that the person reading your arguments might disagree with your points. I wrote in my essay about taxing meat, which of course would be controversial, so I found statistics on public support for this idea.
