Starting year 12- do I need folders?

I’m starting my a levels in September (Biology, Maths, Physics and an EPQ) and I’ve seen a lot of videos around with lots of people recommending buying subject folders for starting a levels. I was planning to use plastic wallets to separate my stuff, like putting my homework for the week, my exercise book, my spec and my notecards in the wallet and taking it to lesson. I plan to make class notes in my exercise book, concise notes (if I want to make them) on notecards, and doing flash cards on my iPad digitally. Is it worth me getting a folder to put old homework and past papers etc in? Would be super grateful for any input from any a level students, especially if you’ve done any of my prospective subjects (including an epq). Thanks in advance for any reply and have a nice day

Yes, I would recommend having a separate folder for each subject. It allows you to remain organised so you'll know exactly where to find old past notes/past papers for when you're revising. Hope you have a nice day too

Thanks so much for the reply 🙂 I found some folders so that makes the decision easier, now I’ve got them so I can use them if need be!
