books to compare a dolls house too

I'm starting my NEA in September and need to find a book to compare "A Doll's House" too, however i'm using AQA and every good suggestion on here is banned since they cover it in exams please help with some books i'm allowed to use.

If you're interested in comparing with another text that focuses on feminist themes, you might be interested in The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte or Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. The latter is quite short and has a considerable amount of critical scholarship already written on it. The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman could also be a good comparison but is a short story rather than a book.

I think there's a comparison with North and South (Mary Gaskell) in the NEA exemplars
