weekly schedule for cardiff uni
hello. i wanted to ask whats the average weekly schedule of someone (particularly an undergrad cs student) from cardiff uni? how many days do u go to uni as a full-time student. how long does it take per day on average for classes. i am looking for part time jobs while i study (im starting this september) as someone who recently moved to uk i have no clue how universities work here. i wanna know the weekly schedule so i can manage part time work and my studies

Email the department and ask for a copy of this year's timetable.

OP will need to note that:
1.
The timetable for the upcoming academic year (i.e. 2024/2025) is likely to look different to the timetable for last year (2023/2024). (The number of hours scheduled for each activity is likely to be the same or very similar, but the specific scheduling of the hours is likely to be different.)
2.
The timetable for the first semester is likely to be different to that for the second semester.

Just to add on to @normaw 's comment, the best place to contact the School of Computer Science would be through this email: [email protected]. I'm sure they would be able to help
I can't speak for computer science as I am a psychology student, but in general, we have a lot of personal study time. There are also never classes on Wednesday afternoons, for any degree subject. We have something called the Jobshop, which is the university's dedicated job site. As well as jobs external to the university, there are part-time jobs internal to the university/student union, and many students easily juggle a part time job with their studies (if that's any reassurance!)
