That's not true. People think the grade boundaries are set from the previous year but that's not true because it's unfair as the papers may not be of the same difficulty. Grade boundaries are set after the exams and used for those same exams. After we write our 2025 GCSE's new (2025) grade boundaries will be set and used for us only.
