Mitigating circumstance

Hi someone please help I’m in a bit of a pickle
So basically I was stuck abroad for like6months due to family and personal reasons which resulted in me having to retake yr12 as I missed so much
And I know many top unis say that they accept retakes if there is a mitigating circumstance as to why they retook.

Does mine count as a mitigating circumstance, if not what do I do pls help

On the face of things, yes.

Yes - you will need to complete whatever form / school letter etc each Uni requires and send that to them at the same time as you submit your UCAS form. Example for Bristol - Extenuating circumstances | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol
