King's College Accommodation Help!

Hey All!

I am a first year student and I am currently waiting for my A level results.

I couldn't get accomodation at King's so now I put myself on the waiting list. Now I'm struggling to find a good place to live.

I found some decent properties in Isilington and Hammersmith, but I don't know if KCL couldn't open more residences.

Has anyone ever not got into uni accommodation? How did you deal with it? Any tips you have for first year students?

Thank you so so much!

If there ain’t any left we could room, but hopefully we can get results and find the rooms.

I’ll check for shared accommodation.

Btw I know that Kings Accom costs the same as some en-suites that I’ve looked at in Islington and Convent garden.

But I think the security (if something bad happens 2 u), bonding, activities and social life is a lot better in student. accommodation.

Anyway wish you luck on results day ❤️

I have a uni accommodation contract for Don Gratton House, Whitechapel. The accommodation provider is Sanctuary Students.

The accommodation is located in Zone 1, and is 10 minutes away from both Aldgate East (District, Hammersmith & City line) and Whitechapel station (Elizabeth line, Overground).
The accommodation is 25 mins away from KCL Strand Campus by tube.

The rent is only £282 per week for a double en-suite, significantly cheap for Zone 1. Please let me know if you would like to take the contract.

by double ensuite do u mean only 2 people would have to share a bathroom ? and have you already got one person, this seems like it could work for me and the other person on this thread

No it's just a room for one occupant. It's just bigger than single ensuite, bathroom is not shared (it's within the room).

Hi, are you still looking to give this up? I’m really struggling to find accommodation near KCL.
