Clearing

Can i go through clearing even if i get accepted in my firm choice???

Basically i want to go to my firm choice uni but i decided thats not the course i want to do anymore… the course that i now want to do is available on clearing though. Do i apply for it through clearing even if i get accepted at my firm choice? Or do i have to switch the courses?? Im super confused on how clearing works.

If you want to swap courses at one of your current choices just contact them directly to ask. There shouldn’t be any need to use clearing.

I would suggest contacting the university admissions team ASAP, just because the sooner you get in the contact the more likely it is that they will be able to help. As long as you meet the relevant entry requirements and there are places still available the admissions team should be able to make the switch over for you 🙂
