Crush

Before I start my story, you should know that I am an almost 16 year old boy. This will prevent a misunderstanding later. I've had a crush on this girl for a while. We've been friends for about the same amount of time. A few weeks ago I told her that I have a crush on her, and she said that she wasn't ready for a relationship. Me, being the dumb guy that I am kept talking, making it even more awkward. (And I did this all over text)
I haven't brought it up since. During band camp, she showed me some clips to a show that she likes, and I started watching it a few days ago. We talk about the show pretty often. That is currently where we stand. I still have a crush on her, but I want to re-do my confession by asking her out for a drink (or something similar). The issue is, I'm not sure how I should do it. Do I pretend like I didn't confess already? Do I tell her I want to try again? Or should I just ignore my crush on her? Maybe something else.

Don't. You've already told her how you feel. She's said, in effect, "Thanks, but no thanks." In fact you've done so twice by the sound of it, as you say you "kept talking, making it even more awkward." That fact that this confession hasn't ruined the friendship is great. Don't ruin that.

Something else. Don't do it.

she don't like you mate, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. "I'm not ready for a relationship" is a lie, she is but not for you. Stop talking to her.

all wrong, stop speaking to her. You're setting this poor boy up for failure, no offence, but this isn't the disney channel.
