The Student Room Group

Can I use other departments facilities in university?

I have an offer to study pharmaceutical science in The university of Lincoln. I was wondering if anyone knows if we are allowed to use other courses facilities? Like the practice rooms and music studios.
I read somewhere that some universities let you but others need to safe the space to the people studying the subjects ( which I completely understand but I'm still curious).
Does anyone know?

Good afternoon,

Firstly, congratulations on your offer to study Pharmaceutical Science here at the University of Lincoln!

Unfortunately, the practice rooms are shared between students on our Music and Musical Theatre courses during term time and are used most daytimes for teaching and module work.

However, we can arrange students to have access in evenings and weekends, on the understanding that they only use if they are available.

If you do decide to join us here at Lincoln, you can email our enquiries inbox on [email protected] and we can put you in touch with the relevant staff who can look to organise you access.

Hope this helps🙂

Best wishes,
Nick
