Will my A-Level courses get me into top universities if I do well?

Hello, the A Level courses I am planning to do is English Literature, Law, and Religious Studies.
I would like to study Law at Uni and maybe if I would like to study again later on in life I would do an English Literature degree (unlikely).
What do you guys think? Would I be accepted?
top uni examples exp- Oxbridge/oxford/Cambridge etc (and any others I haven't mentioned)
Your subjects are fine for either law or English lit. Note A-level Law is not considered particularly useful preparation for a law degree as I understand, as it's a bit more themed around "socio-legal studies" than black letter law I believe? Also consider that it's not a requirement (about 10 years back I think some law schools even discouraged it although I believe post-A-level reform there aren't any unis that specifically have language around this anymore) or certainly not even a preference, so if there are other subjects you'd be more interested in from a personal/intellectual perspective by all means pursue one of those! Law has no subject requirements and the only subject requirement for English lit is A-level English lit.

Note however the opportunity to study a second degree is likely to be very limited as you would need to pay out of pocket for it entirely for yourself. Unless you expect to have ~50k sitting around in a bank account and can take 3 years of not working it's unlikely you would be able to do that. Equally bear in mind you can become a lawyer (of either sort) with any degree and in fact 50% of solicitors and barristers did a non-law first degree.

Therefore unless you have a specific academic interest in studying black letter law, I'd suggest pursuing an English lit degree then going into a legal carer - you get the best of both worlds then
