results day but work experience

hi my results day is in 2 days aaaaa. However my GP work experience starts at 9am and my results will be texted to me at 8am. Finding GP work experience is a struggle as I have no connections so I had to find it myself and GP practices are very busy at the moment. Should I open my results after I get home?

Congratulations on getting GP work experience. So hard to get.

You will want to make the absolute best of it.

So, will you make the best of it if you are twitching wondering what your results are ? What about all your friends and family saying "ohhh Melissa 200 - what did you get? I got x ..."

Will you be able to fake it if the results aren't what you want ? Or would you prefer a duvet day?

Of course, your results could be magnificent and you wont want to sit and listen to a GP when you could be out partying !

In any event you are likely to be distracted and phone focused. You could try and change your wex date, but as you say, they are like gold dust and GPs are so busy...

So if you go, 100% commit to it and try and stay off your phone !

Which option feels best for you / most comfortable? Only you can say...

Good luck whichever you do !

Hi hope your results went well and you got what you wanted and hope the gp work experience went well I also had my work experience today funny enough at a dog and cat shelter, it was rllt frustrating cos I wanted to be at home w my family for results day but finding work experience isn't easy so I didn't cancel it. I'm thinking of switching to Med as its a rlly good degree w a wide variety of branches. And with my work experience I found that working with animals isn't always hygienic and friendly and some of the dogs were rlly aggressive and I'd rather do a degree like medicine which is arguably one of the best mlst impressive degrees you can get but also very competitive but also very rewarding and demanding and more interesting js wondering how did the work experience go at the gp as I would want to go in that route and wondering if you recommend it. Sorry for the long message thanks for reading lemme know and if you have any tips they would be much appreciated as medicine sound like a much better option and degree and there's sm more you can do with it since being a vet is quite restricted ))
