My Exam Admission Journey

Hi everyone, I am preparing for the TMUA and I would like to make this thread just as a reminder for me to actually revise. I have watched and revised every TMUA video and I have attempted my first paper the 2016 papers with 5.6 and 4.8 so far however I struggle heavily with wording of questions. I'm going through the Hodder Education TMUA book and honestly it looks incredibly hard BUT I'm not going to give up just yet as I'm either sitting it in October or January anyways.
I'm also doing the TMUA. Good luck with your revision!!

Hi everyone, TMUA prep went okay, definetly learning new techniques and working through the Hodder Education Book is proving to be challenging but I have finished Chapter 1 and 2, just need to review 2 questions and go over TMUA flashcard techniques.

10 Hours at library yesterday, plan for today is around 6 or 7 hours depends how bad Chapter 3 is.

Thanks! Ehh it's going okay, but I'm definitely not doing as much revision as you are, I should probably start doing more. I'm applying for Economics! What about you?

Yesterday was 5 hours roughly of prep but it was going over a LOT of silly mistakes and making sure Chapter 2 was fully locked into my brain before trying to revise Chapter 3. Chapter 3 is very challengng and I am just wondering if anyone also is finding the TMUA quite hard?

Today, summarise CHapter 3 and 4 and make sure to understand everything then attempt questions.

Start MAT part 1 sections and maybe resit 2016 and 2017 p1 and p2.

NEED notes on logic and proof.

I'm also economics or maybe maths and economics I'm still not too sure! I think a lot of people would be sitting this exam as it's on like every entrance requirement for ICL and other unis.

Ooh nice! Yes I know quite a few people sitting it!
I'm planning on Taking the TMUA for Computer science at either Warwick(or Cambridge which i've still not decided), and i've just recently looked through the specification a few days ago.
However, I don't know how to start preparation for TMUA.
Any advice on how to start, and what revision resources to use?

Hi sorry it took so long for my response! I would say watch r2drew2 as he has specific vids for certain TMUA topics if you scroll in his playlist. Also the lang for some questions is very very weird sometimes so don't panic just make sure to watch his vids bc he explains the method to his working/ how he approaches questions.

Thank you
However, as there's not many past papers available, is it okay if i complete MAT multiple choice questions. I've heard they're similar to TMUA questions

Haven't been updating just been so stressed out lately. The Hodder Pearsons Book is so hard to understand and it's just depressing icl. I'm on Chapter 5 on fucntions and the questions are awful and idk I just see everyone else doing so well and I'm so confused on why I score badly.
