Student Finance England - changed immigration status

A question for Student Finance England

Hello.
I will be in the 3rd year of my undergraduate degree next academic year 2024/25.
I applied for finance as a European student for my 1st and 2nd years, meaning I was only eligible for the tuition loan as I only held pre-settled status.

Now I do have settled status and would like to apply for maintenance loan too. How do I do that? My online account is virtually non-functional: I cannot make any applications there, only view the status of existing ones (hence, I’ve been applying using paper forms thus far).
Is it correct that I need to apply as a new student using the PN1 Form?
Can I still apply if I have already sent off my EUPR1a form for continuing students for 2024/25, that I received by post (I wanted to make sure I get the tuition loan in time as it is the priority for me)?

(I've tried calling SFE a few times, but I am still confused - it seems most operators were not familiar with what should be done in my situation.)

Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you for replying.
I have a Latvian passport (European Union), but hold settled status in the UK.

Hi there, it would be the PN1 form you'd complete. Just ensure you also select 'yes' to the tuition fees (even if you've sent the EUPR1A form). Thanks, Jason

I see, thank you!
Could I also ask you for a clarification with regard to filing out the form.
It asks whether I have ever had any other loans for from the SLC.
Would the loans I’ve taken in years 1 and 2 be considered as a separate loan, or a part of the same loan since is it continuation of the same degree (hence, the answer would be ’No’)?
(Again, this is my first undergrad degree and I am about to enter my 3rd year).

This would be considered the same loan so you'd click 'no' where it asks about previous loans. Thanks, Jason

Hello,
please what was the response from SFE after submitting the PN1 forms. Thank you.
