sixth form UK

My niece is 16 now, she finished grade 9 in Sweden and came to the UK for sixth-form studies, she got her grades in points.
what's the equivalent for her grades in UK?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
Please explain a bit more :
1) What was the qualification she took in Sweden?
2) What qualifications is she taking in the UK?
3) Has she taken GCSE Maths or English at her Sixth Form?
4) What does she want to do at Uni?

she finished the 9th grade, but she`s 16, in Sweden its different
she would study Biology in UK
we are looking for sixth form schools here in UK, we couldn`t find any that accepts late applicants yet.
she have to study sixth form first,
Whilst her Swedish 16+ are probably a vey loose equivalent of GCSEs, and she would be accepted to take A levels here if she has sensible grades (acceptable for preparatory Gymnasium level in Sweden?), any Sixth Form would probably suggest that she takes GCSE English alongside any A levels, and probably a Maths qualification simply to make her pathway to Uni or employment easier.

Many Sixth Forms do accept late applicants - which city or part of the UK?
