clearing??

Just wondering if you could use clearing in order to go to a better ranked university for your course, even though you got the grades for all your picks?
Thanks
Yes, you can release yourself into clearing and go elsewhere, even if you meet your offer conditions.

There may not be that many better ranked unis in clearing though - so it depends what is available.

Some things to think about :

Think about why you wanted to go to your original Uni / course. Just because you aced your grades doesnt mean you shouldnt still go there.

'Higher grades' doesn't mean 'better course' - and it doesn't mean that you will like that course or enjoy being at that Uni more than your original course.

Clearing applicants are at the back of the queue for accommodation - this can sometimes mean no accommodation.

Hello @Amygoodall1204!

That is possible provided that you meet the entry requirements for the course that you apply for through clearing.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us!

Good luck,
Abián.
