What to do as an EPQ? What is an EPQ? (College)

Hello!!
My first choice college requires me to do an EPQ and I have no idea what to do it on and also hav no real understanding of what an EPQ is. You do it on interests?
I hardly have anything im enthustiastic about besides cooking and baking...
My A-Levels are English Literature, Law and Religious Studies.
Perhaps if I didnt want to take RS an A-Level i would do something based on religion, but i cannot.
I remember for my English Speech for Year 11 I did something on the Impact of Western Beauty Ideals on People/Teens.

Any Ideas or something to Recommend? What did you do for your EPQ?

Hi I did EPQ this year and you basically need to write a 5000 word essay on a particular topic you enjoy. Also you get about six months to write your essay. You could do cooking and baking but it has to be something you could research about. Like one example I found on the internet was the history of baking.
My EPQ was based on Astronomy my topic/question: Can climate change be prevented by the utilisation of space mining and space manufacturing.
Also I received classes for EPQ every week in year 12. I am sure your college will do the same and will provide guidance for you.

EPQ counts as half an alevel and its just a project you can do about any topic you're interested in. You can do a dissertation, artefact, video etc on your chosen topic. For my school, doing a dissertation was compulsory and I did it on Colonialism.
