S5 gyg journal!

[size="4"]S5 gyg journal/diary 🤍🤍

Hi all :smile:! Welcome to my new gyg blog for the upcoming school year! I loved doing these little entries last year on my previous blog, which was a really great tool to track progress, get motivation, and have a chat! The GYG forums have such an amazing and supportive community and I met some really lovely people on here 🤍

Here's a little bit about me:

Was a little busy so forgot to do an update haha
6th of August was the long awaited SQA results day and I have to say I'm really pleased with what I got!! I am actually so surprised with the grade I got for maths I was fully expecting a C or B at most!

Not home currently so I'll only attach the email with the results rather than the letter :smile:

(apologies to the pc users as the picture might be a little big, I'll edit it into a spoiler once I get back home to an ipad as it doesn't seem to work on my phone)

Glad to know that my revision paid off haha
Hope that everyone that sat sqa exams got the results they wanted and all the best for those still awaiting their gcse/a-level results!! 💗

You will be fine S5 a nice year to be in yes I’m am a little bit looking forward to going back to school lol it sometimes gets a bit repetitive in the summer lol yes I think I picked really nice subjects this year rather than last year I did quite dry subjects like math 😂

Crashing psychology is good aswell as higher psychology the course is built for new learners to psychology and the first unit is similar to Nat 5 so you haven’t missed out on much my not take if it as a Nat5 it’s such an interesting subject I hope you like it
In my opinion it’s the best of both worlds science , English , reasoning and common sense lol 🤣📚

Hahah glad to know! I'm really interested in psychology, and we've covered a bit of the conformity topic before the summer and I really enjoyed it, so looking forward to learning more about the subject! It seems like the best middle ground between science and humanities subjects, which is great as my strengths lie in social subjects mostly!

Yes it’s a great subject I don’t take many social studies but I did like history when I did it in the younger years

Thanks!! So, tbh I'm not exactly sure why that was included on the exam results sheet lmao, but it was a nat 4 level course from last year (s3) which has no exam and is essentially marked as a pass (P) or fail (F) from the coursework x

Yes it’s been nice to be back at school and see freinds the course works bit to serious just bus as it never is first week back I know what you mean about sleep schedule I’m sure everyone rolled out of bed on first day back 🤣 but hockey starts next week so that’s nice gonna start running again aswell especially with higher pe there gonna back do the cooper or Bleep test lol 💀😭 so I have to get used to running continuously 😂
But weather really nice today so going to go for a walk just had a nice coffee with the stove top lol ☕️📚
