Changing courses before September
I have been accepted onto Politics, International Relations and Economics at Uni of Strath and I wanted to change to Business and Marketing. Do I need to change courses before September as when I rang the advisor said that my course was categorised as 'business' and I know that you choose your modules if you are on the business course. So is it a matter of, in September, I can just choose different modules to the ones I applied for?

The sooner you ask for a course change the more likely that a university will be able to help.

Hi Anon! To me this looks like you've been accepted to a course within Humanities (rather than Business) so you'd be changing faculties if you were to make this course change so you'll need to contact the Business School to see if they're happy to accept the transfer. I would change sooner rather then later. As you also have to talk to sfe about changing course which i don't think Is too hard.

Hey - I got experience of doing marketing during my gap year after offering a local business a hand with some admin worked and got asked to run their socials and then it kind of blew up from there almost 'accidentally' haha. So then I started a marketing agency to kinda officialise it and have been doing that ever since. So that really influenced the change of heart! I still really like the idea of the Politics course but more-so business and marketing plus it makes a lot more sense!
