I just did mocks daily and practiced as much as I could and got a decent score. What are you using to practice and what scores do you get atm?

I did around 10 mocks i think. But doing mocks alone wouldnt be enough though. You need to identify and learn from your mistakes. I did this by doing question banks and mini mocks on the sections/topics i struggled on. Watching videos of people doing the UCAT and seeing their thought processes can really help aswell.

do you have any advice for DM? i really struggle with it and i feel like no matter how much work im doing im not improving 🙁 with other sections like SJT and VR i improved the more i practiced but with DM i feel like im just stuck

Yeah DM can be quite tricky but the good thing is that the format of the section is the same every single time. So you'll always be asked syllogyms at the start of the section, venn diagrams in the middle probability questions at the end along with any other sections ive missed. So I wouldn't be able to help a lot without looking at your DM questions and seeing where you struggle specifically but I think the biggest thing that helped me was making using of the whiteboard they give you. Knowing how to use it properly can make some questions super easy.

my main issue is syllogyms tbh like venn diagrams and probability is fine it’s the syllogyms and evaluating arguments that i just cannot do

I was the opposite hated venn diagrams but loved syllogyms and evaluating arguments. For syllogyms it helps to draw out the statements using diagrams. The word r confusing on purpose so being able to visualise can help for some people. You can watch videos to see how ppl do this. With evaluating arguments you need to pick the argument that directly addresses the issue that is given. Don't let your own opinions help you choose the answer. If you need more help on questions lmk.

for the syllogyms how do u visualise them? i tend to just write short abbreviations but obviously thats not working out (in the practice untimes sets the most i can get is 13/20) :frown:( sorry for all the questions it’s just rlly not clicking and i’m struggling 😭😭

Its fine I already got into med so i got a lot of free time😭 drawing out the syllogyms by making a diagram of the relationship between all the words they give you can help you visualise it. So once you draw it you can just simply follow the diagram to see if the statement is true or false. Is that something you tried?

i tried that for the last set of untimed questions i’ve done and i’m still stuck at 13/20 🥲🥲

I mean u have alot of time to improve😭 but if u still cant hack it b4 the test just guess and flag those questions. Do the topics ur better at first then come back to it. Much better to get the easy marks then waste ur time on something u cant do

Oh i forgot i think syllogyms qs can be like 2 marks instead of 1 so maybe do try to learn them. But try the guess and flag method and see how it affects ur score

I've only done one full mock when I first started revising and got 2420 which is absolutely terrible. But I've mainly been revising each subtest by itself and getting around 610
