TMUA reservations

I’m currently having issues rescheduling my TMUA reservation with Pearson vue to January. I have checked about 12-15 centres within 25 ish miles (Sw London + Surrey area) and not a single one has an available date for January (or October).
I contacted them and got a very unhelpful general response telling me how to book a place. Is anyone else having this issue or could it possibly be my browser etc..?

Registration for the January dates does not open until the 24th of October so don't worry if you don't need the October dates. There seems to be a major problem at the moment if you need to sit the test in October. We booked at midday on the day the tests opened and closest centre we could get was 30 miles away! The best bet if you don't need the October dates is to cancel it and then rebook for January in October. There are loads of people desparate for the October dates. https://esat-tmua.ac.uk/deadlines/

Have you already booked a test for October? I've booked a test for October and I'm trying to reschedule it for January, but it says on the website "This exam cannot be rescheduled or canceled. If you need any assistance, please contact customer service". Did you have to contact customer service?
