Missed my Warwick conditional by 1 IB point.

What the title says, I missed it by one point however they aren’t even reconsidering me. The subject that would’ve gained me the extra point is only 2 mark away from getting a higher grade, this after a grade remarking.

I really really want to go, is there anything else I can possibly do for them to reconsider me?

You could try and phone them and ask again, explaining that you were very close to getting a higher grade, and maybe adding that you’re very passionate about that subject.
Or you could apply for a foundation course instead or apply for the same course after a gap year?

My advise is go to another university or retake those exams if Warwick is that important to you.

I already emailed them asking and telling them how I just about missed the grade mark. I’m not eligible for a foundation year programme.

Presumably Warwick believe that the course will be full if they are already rejecting such a close near miss. It might be worth asking to be reconsidered in the light of the A-level results.

Then I would advise you to take a gap year and do some work experience related to your subject in that year as well as retake the exams (as mentioned above). Then apply for Warwick again next year
