Please can someone advise regarding CCA NHS and Childcare Grant.

I am starting an Occupational Therapy course in September and have applied for the NHS Bursary. Do I apply for the Childcare Grant through Student Finance or the Childcare Allowance (CCA) from the NHS?

Where are you studying the course (England, Wales, etc.) as different funding options apply for healthcare courses?

Okay. As you are doing an AHP course (not medicine or dentistry), you apply to the NHS Learning Support Fund (not the NHS Bursary) for additional financial support. If you are eligible, you can apply for the 'Parental Support' of £2,000 per year. This is in addition to the annual training grant of £5,000 per year. You can apply for Parental Support even if you receive the SFE childcare grant.

"Parental Support will not affect your access to child support or other means of funding through your higher education provider or other sources."
