Anyone going to study at University of Calgary ?

Hey all,

I am going to study for my year abroad at University of Calgary in a few weeks, and im wanting to try and meet some other people in a similar position as me going and studying at UOC.

I am currently studying in Sheffield, and would love to get to know some other people. I am studying international business at UOC, and am looking forward to explore a new city in a new country. I am outdoorsy and sporty, enjoying spending times in the mountains and kayaking down rivers.

I am also still looking for accommodation, so if anyone else is still looking, or has any advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I am going to study in Calgary from Sheffield in 2025/26, so I’d like to ask about your experience there? What is there to do, what’s the uni like, is the social life good out there? :smile:
