Student Finance less than eligible for?

Hello,

I've just received my maintenance loan decision, but the amount is lower than what I am eligible for, by an amount as if my household income was 10 grand higher than it is.

I have not been offered the minimum, so I am aware this is their final conclusion.

Any idea what could have caused this or if an appeal has grounds? There are no uncertain factors like pension contributions and the like.

I filled out the forms myself so I can confirm the correct amount of income was supplied.

Thank you!
