Goodenough College 2024/25

Hi! Congratulations for getting an offer! I also applied to the Goodenough College during the August round. I haven’t received any decision yet. This is my last hope honestly as I can’t find any available student accommodations. Fingers crossed!

May I ask which month cycle did you apply in? Also, do they give scholarship decision in the same email?

Hello! I applied in the June cycle, and heard back first week of August. And yes, they do give the scholarship decision in the same email, although the panel contacts you separately as well. Good luck - I do hope you get in!

Thank you so much for your well wishes and also for the info! I think my results will be announced anytime from 31st August to the first week of September. Hoping for something positive although they are saying that the vacancies are very less now :frown:

I have applied as well. Looks like the decision will come only in 1st week of September. Since it is so late now I have booked another private accommodation as it would be very risky in not getting through.
Now I am in a quandary, I will inevitably have to go along with the private accommodation if the result is too late from Goodenough College.😕

I am going to LSE btw, what about you?

I'm going to UCL. Your decision seems fair, it's better than going without accomodation if things don't work out.

I'm assuming you also paid a holding deposit so it might be difficult for you to pull out now

Hey! I received my rejection email from Goodenough today. I was quite sad but then thankfully I also got a confirmation for the Lilian Knowles Hall (I am going to LSE too!)

Also, I read on the previous years Goodenough threads here on the Studentroom that they send out rejection emails first and then acceptance emails later. Did you hear back from them?
