Extenuating circumstances for clearing

I’ve had underlying adhd during my alevels and resits. I only got diagnosed late January and put on medication in February (which didn’t go to plan and work well for me) but I’m not going through counselling for it . I originally got cce(maths, economics, psychology respectively). I was planning on redoing Econ and psych but ended up just doing psychology. I’m hoping for a b/c.
I’m looking at courses in finance or finance and accounting.
I’m wondering how universities take extenuating circumstances into consideration and I don’t feel my grades reflect my potential. I’m aiming for quite high universities like Liverpool finance data analytics bsc or Cardiff accounting and finance. What is the likelihood of these universities reducing their offer through clearing and by how much? Many thanks

Unis do not have time to consider mitigating circumstances in Clearing - decisions are based purely on received grades.

Hiya!

Unfortunately, Cardiff only really reduces offers due to contextual data or getting an A in EPQ. Its hard to say whether the course here reduces their offer through clearing, as it can go either way! It can reduce, however, it can also stay the same or even get higher. The uni however, does provide updates on changes to clearing, which you can sign up for here.

I would also recommend having a look at the university's pathway courses, which may be relevant

Did your exam centre apply for consideration from your exam boards?
Have you got your UCAS application in? Holding any offers on there?
