Guys, I'm planning on taking Physics a-level . Is it really hard? I also had a really bad physics teacher at GCSE so I didn't understand many concepts and I also hate electricity topics. Do you think I should take it?

From what I know physics is hard but all a levels are hard and it depends on whether you like the subject and what you’re good at whether its a good choice for you. What grade are you predicted? As this is the year 12 2024-25 forum it’s mostly people (me included) who haven’t started a levels yet so maybe ask elsewhere for more info.

Probably not. I've heard it is slightly easier than Maths/FM but still incredibly difficult. If you didn't understand key concepts and struggle with electricity, you will find it difficult and not enjoy it.Do you have another subject you can take for A-level?

That’s not bad. Only take it if you liked the gcse - that’s my advice.
How is everyone feeling about results?

I want to go to uni and study Geography to become a Geography Teacher. I'm thinking of staying at home though to reduce costs so I'll have to go to Open University or UEA because Suffolk and Essex Uni doesn't do Geography,I won't get Cambridge grades and I don't want to study in London. I might not stay at home though.

Oh no, did you not get the grade you hoped for in geography?

I'm fine with a 7. I was just hoping for a 9 but it isn't a big deal as I can still get into sixth form.
