masters degree

So I’ve found a course that interests me Organizational psychology” but I’ve noticed that few universities offer it and I can’t really afford London and go into UCL . The closest and one I could go with would be Coventry Business and Organizational psychology” which seems promising but I’m aware the reputation dosent look good .

my question would be does reputation matter since this is postgraduate study and also whether this might just be that the course I chose is not very popular?

it might be better to do a HR course? Is HR different to Organizational psychology or same thing?
Hey there

There might be some overlap, e.g. in terms of retention of employees, for example

I suppose it depends on what your career path is

Is the organisational psychology course accredited? Do you have a psychology background previously?

Yes HR and Organisation Psychology are different - HR has more of a drastic scope ranging from training staff to payroll and employee relations. Organisational Psychology focuses more on solving problems in the workplace through psychological principles and evidence - while intending to increase the efficiency of productivity + manager/staff relations giving a higher quality of life within the company.

I think choose on what you're passionate about and which sort of job prospects you are hoping to find from the degree - the reputation of the institution is only really in the eye of the beholder and at the end of the day the degree is worth the same as long as its accredited and regulated.
