For Biomedical Science at the University of Westminster, my experience was positive overall. The course is well-structured with a mix of practical lab work and theory, which is great for building a strong foundation. The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the facilities are good for hands-on learning.

Regarding employability, it really depends on how proactive you are, but there are placement opportunities and career support available. A lot of students go on to work in healthcare, research, or further studies. If you’re looking to work in the NHS or labs, the degree provides a solid pathway. However, you will need to get your HCPC registration to work as a Biomedical Scientist.

Me personally, I didn’t stay in accommodation because my first year at university was during Covid, so the course was online. For my second and third years, I was commuting to university.

Regarding recommendations, it’s a good university, but it really depends on your options. I would suggest checking the university website for the most up-to-date information on the modules because I’m not sure if they’ve changed anything since I was there.

Other than that if you need any questions answered just shoot me a message on this and i will try my best to answer 😀
